Before running the installer

  1. Confirm that the filename and Windows platform match what you intended to download.
  2. Inspect the Windows publisher information and digital signature when present.
  3. Scan the file with Windows Security. Do not disable protection merely because a download is blocked.
  4. Create or verify a backup before configuring a synchronization job against important data.

Personal and commercial use

Edition and licensing terms can change. The developer’s current FAQ distinguishes personal use from organizational or commercial use and provides Business Edition information. Review the current terms on the developer website before deployment in a company, government agency, school, or other organization.

Installer and portable availability

Portable availability may depend on edition. This page does not promise that every edition contains identical features. Use the installer for a standard Windows installation; use a portable build only when it is legitimately available for your edition and workflow.

After installation

Begin with a comparison-only first run. Do not select Mirror or Two Way until you understand the action arrows and have a separate copy of important files.
